A family Vietnamese kitchen on Central Avenue
Phoever is a family-owned Vietnamese restaurant and coffee bar at 4022 Central Ave NE in the heart of Columbia Heights, MN — thật ngon, thật vui: delicious and fun.

The heart of the kitchen
At Phoever, every dish begins the way it would in a Vietnamese home — with fresh ingredients, time and care. The kitchen is led by our own family, and much of the menu is made in house by the owner’s wife, from the egg rolls to the marinated pork in the bánh mì to the meatballs in the phở.
Our phở broth is slow-simmered for hours with beef bones, star anise, cinnamon and spices until it is rich and aromatic. We don’t believe in rushing great food. The best bowls take time, and every one is worth the wait.
Alongside the phở you will find spicy Bún Bò Huế, crispy bánh mì, shaken beef, rice platters and a short list of Thai Food favorites. When you sit down at Phoever, you are our guest.

A place that feels like home
From colorful silk lanterns to paper umbrellas and a wall of wisteria over a glowing neon heart, our dining room is built to be warm, welcoming and comfortable. It is not about being fancy — it is about a space where you can slow down and share a meal.
Don’t leave without something from the coffee and boba bar. Our Vietnamese coffee is slow-brewed and bold; the boba milk tea and fruit smoothies are blended to order. If you are feeling adventurous, try the salted coffee or the egg coffee.
